Reviews and Ratings
This campground offers a nice and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, but I found some RV sites oddly shaped, making it tricky to set up. While the beach was pleasant, some amenities are lacking, especially considering the high seasonal rates, which could use some reevaluation.
Sandy Beach offers a lovely camping experience with well-maintained cabins and a friendly atmosphere among campers. The serene setting is perfect for relaxation and water activities. However, some might find the rules a bit excessive and the cleanliness of certain units lacking.
Our stay was a mixed bag. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the Christmas activities planned for the kids. However, there were several issues, like the sanitation problems in the common areas and the awkward site setup. The beach area felt overcrowded, which detracted from the experience.
I had an amazing time at this campground! It's beautifully nestled in the woods, providing a peaceful atmosphere while also being conveniently close to the race track. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist me. The beach area was clean and perfect for my family. However, getting around with a larger RV can be a bit tricky at times, and there were quite a few seasonal sites that might take away from the experience for some campers.
My experience at Sandy Beach Campground was quite mixed. While the location is beautiful and the campground has potential, the management's overbearing presence made it less enjoyable. It felt like they were more focused on enforcing rules rather than creating a relaxing atmosphere. On the bright side, amenities like laundry services and activities for families were decent, but there were significant issues that need addressing.
